Speaking of the recently departed, Jack Hawkins duly notes how our filthy friends on the left reacted to Strom Thurmond's death. On the brighter side, his "Frank Discussions: Democratic Presidential Candidates By Frank J" is just precious and definitely worth your time. NOTE: Early yesterday, while I was still mucking about with the network setup, I advised you to spend the morning perusing Mr. Cracker's site. Somehow it was deleted, but the advice is still good. |
I just loved this one :-)
"Frank: Is it true you sold your soul to the devil?
Edwards: Well, yes, but that's common for all trial lawyers, and I don't think it should be held against me."
If only all trial lawyers were that honest.
The right was not better. In fact, Hawkins takes Michele Catalano of A Small Victory to the woodshed for dancing on Strom's grave. Andrew Sullivan has been insufferable, as well (of course, Andrew Sullivan can barely be classified as "of the right" anymore).
Posted by: Spoons on June 30, 2003 10:08 AMI know. I constantly drink myself into a stupor in celebration of Bill & Hillary's certain deaths, but I have the good grace to keep my thoughts private.
