ROTF! Hmmm, that looks a lot like the 98 version.

Posted by: Rodger Schultz on August 22, 2003 10:03 PMI thought that was Win2000?
I downloaded a "new" driver for my wireless network card from the MS "upgrade" site, only to have the network card quit in a huff.
So I deleted, reinstalled and now everything's back to normal.
Now all I have to do is figure out where to stick the needle in the Bill Gates voodoo doll...
Posted by: Kim du Toit on August 23, 2003 01:45 AMI've had W2KPro on my laptop for a couple of yrs. now...only problem I've ever had was from downloading a McAfee upgrade last yr. Switched to Norton, problem solved.
After running 98 and then briefly ME, Win2000 is a breeze. I don't have to spend one week out of every month fixing stuff to get my system back up. Now that I'm learning how to use some of the bells & whistles, I'm even starting to like XP. Still hate the interface though. It's so counter-intuitive...for me anyway.
