Pop Quiz

Texas constitutional amendment Proposition 12 allows lawmakers to set limits on some damage awards in lawsuits.  Prop 12 was among 22 amendments passed by Texas voters on September 11.  Now, boys and girls, we have here a citizen's mini revolt against the excesses of the plaintiff's bar - a group that is among the largest enablers of an even filthier group, the Democrat party, so what do you suppose they would do?
A. Sigh, and accept the voters will
B.  Run naked through Dallas Streets in protest
C.  File a lawsuit to overturn the election
D.  Take up knitting
E.   Buy a new Lamborghini
I will be disappointed if anyone (save for you Donk lurkers) gets the answer wrong. Posted by pecksnif at October 1, 2003 08:48 AM | TrackBack

I voted against prop 12, fat lot of good it did.
My issue is that it covers more than Medical Malpractice.
So lets say in the horrid event, my car burst's into flames, or the gas tank explodes due to manufacturer defect, the pain and suffering of my baby daughter burning to death in front of me would be worth a whopping 250k?

Actually I have determined it may be a good thing, since you can only get that muich, maybe in that situation it would make someone think of a more righteous cause, "I will not settle, you must do a recall" (Manufacturer's recall not election)
