Up in Smoke

What doesn't make sense, to me anyway, is how this case made it to a federal appeals court in Atlanta?  In 2003? An explanation from my overpaid C&S lawyer's bar would be welcome.

I'm glad this got tossed. The sheriff's office in my county in SW Florida makes this kind of stop and arrest all the time. I think they know it's unconstitutional, but it's so successful, and they make so much through cash and car seizures, that they stop an enormous number of cars and immediately bring in a dog. They have profiles they use, and then look for a problem as an excuse to stop them. I hope they throw the book at these bastards.

Yeah, the answer to: "Can I look inside your car?" should be:

"No. Was there anything else? Because I need to be on my way, now."
