"President Franklin D. Roosevelt took office saying, "We have
nothing to fear but fear itself." The economic history of the 1930s
shows that we had nothing to fear but FDR himself. (Those who doubt
this should read "FDR's Folly" by Jim Powell)." - Thomas Sowell, Random

We would be remiss if we did not pay homage to the Iowa caucuses for
ridding the nation of Richard Gephardt, who announced his retirement
after losing there.
An unprincipled liar, Gephardt may now go to his grave in the knowledge
that he has done nothing good of any consequence during his sorry
life. My curator estimates that Gephardt "submissions" make up
18% of
the National
Pissatorium's inventory. No surprise, that. |
