 It stands to reason that Democrats, because they supported a draft evader (not avoider, evader) for 8 years, find it necessary to get even. That's what they do. Damian Houseman brought this post (from MAY of last year, for God's sake) to my attention. Since Hobbsonline is a "blogspot," and subject to all those screwy archive link problems, I've posted a mirrored copy here if you have a problem. Read it, and the next time your dickwad brother-in-law claims Bush is a "deserter," shove this at him before the left hook (or spanking, if it's your sister-in-law). Pricks. |

I knew from the start that the leftists were misrepresenting GW Bush's military record. You can tell from how they approach the subject that they know nothing about flying in the Guard. They keep thinking of the traditional Army enlistee type of Guard, one weekend per month and two weeks in the summer. Flying personnel in the ANG are on duty far more than that, since flying requirements in the Guard are the same as for active duty flyers.
Lt. Bush did his duty and then some. As the article demonstrates, he was not AWOL and earned his honorable discharge.
