All the people who did lynching in the South were Democrats. (The only Republicans in the South at that time were black.) Here is the true psychological reason the Democrats selected the lynching sites they did.
The water for the Democrats symbolizes their desire to drown America in regulations and laws.
The railroad bridge symbolizes their desire so send the people’s money to the government bureaucrats and left-wing organizations.
The Trees shows that the Democrats were tree huggers even then and that they wanted bodies to fertilize the trees.

Posted by: Rodger Schultz at February 2, 2004 04:51 PMIt's clear that at least some probably most of those "lynchings" were the result of a trial by jury and were simply public executions. Murder is done at night without the foolishness of commercialized photo documentation.
Nice site, thanks. I'll recommend it to all my friends who like me think public executions would be a benefit to American youths, especially those with Leftist political leanings.
Posted by: NC3 at February 2, 2004 04:54 PMYou may be right, but folks were none too shy about lynching people during daylight hours, if they knew there was no chance for recrimination. Also, if some dude was found hanging from a lamp post on Times Sauare today, you'd get a good picture of the gawkers afterwards. Some of that here I suspect.

No doubt there would be. In fact, dependent upon who was swinging I'd be there with a camera suitable for creating posters...but that's not gawking, just good business. HA!
