cuckold-ette?

I can't find the blasted thing, but I thought it was a Monty Python sketch.  About a politician giving a press conference.  A reporter brings up the matter of his dalliance with another woman as the candidate's wife looks on, stunned.  He gives a lame excuse, and the wife gamely steps forward to defend him.  Then another reporter trumps his explanation with more damning details about his infidelity.  The pol stammers out an excuse, and looks pleadingly to his wife for support.  She again steps up and stands by her man.  But then, more information emerges, blah blah blah.  Quite a funny sketch.  It's the first thing that came to mind when I saw this picture of the war hero and Mrs. Heinz-Kerry.

John and Theresa Heinz Kerry in the midst of rumors about Kerry's infidelity with an intern.

You know it's amazing how that chick he allegedly slept with looks like a younger version of his wife.

Frau Kerry reminds me of Tammy Wynette in this photo.

"Stan' byyyy yer may-in... tail the worl' that yew luv heeem..."
