AMERICAN Mafia families are recruiting their killers in Sicily
because Americans are seen as unreliable and indiscreet, according to
authorities in Rome and Washington. "Soldiers from Sicily are considered less likely to end up collaborating with police." Dozens of Sicilians aged between 20 and 30 are believed to
have been sent from towns in the Palermo area to the US to help shore
up the ranks of clans such as the DeCavalcante family in New Jersey and
the Bonanno family in New York. - Mafia 'outsourcing' killers

It is all part of Globalisation dammit!
The Israeli press was full of the story of "local families" who were outsourcing their hits to Russian workers. They would be smuggled in via Egyptian controlled Sinai ( see how well the peace plan is doing?). The only problem was with the "hardware" the boys were bringing with them.
