Warm & Fuzzy

One of the truly good friends I have made in Blogdom is Ricky West [North Georgia Dogma]. If you're not reading his stuff, you should be. Anyway, it was he who volunteered to get me moved from Blogspot to Movable type.  It is he who has helped me out of countless programming jams, and just yesterday warned me of another impending shutdown.  I am already halfway through my  file transfer allotment of 20 GB.month [bandwidth] , so something had to be done.  The biggest gobbler of bandwidth is my monthly archives, so they're gone.  I think that should do it, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I think most of that bandwidth was going to .jpg rustlers from Googleland.  Fuckem.

Check out Stephen Den Beste's solution to people who link to your jpg's:

I don't know if that is applicable to the blogging software you use.

Thanks, I read it but wouldn't know how to begin implementing it ...

Linking is great, It's when folks post a oicture on their website but use my storage bin that I feel the drain. Link away.

ahhhh... and the mystery of internet literacy is becoming more clear to me. That's good to know!

I suppose the remote possibility that widespread fame isn't instantaneous isn't worth considering. That's why less than 2 weeks ago I spent over 3 hours ROFLMAO reading the archives.

I hate to think of the other possibility: that I'm so hopelessly out of touch that I am the last person on earth to find your blog.
