Every time I think about the Spanish election result, the Monty Python movie The Holy Grail where the knights encountering danger yell "run away! run away!" comes to mind.

The counter-reconquista begins.

And...
I like the new graphic(s), above.
I can't quite see the ampersand, though.

Which gives me an idea for a new pejorative, such as, "Kerry's such an ampersand!"

Cool blog. The new Spanish Prime Minister image is so true. ETA has been shown the way they need to do things. Make bigger better bombs, kill more innocents and then you'll get the Spanish to listen to your aims.

Bravo Spanish voters for showing the way...

PS: If all goes well, Maryland will play Syracuse on Saturday. Woohoo! Yarbz, Syracuse class of 1988

We'll be looking forward to that game, and the one after.

Watch your back

The Spanish were more symbolic in the war on terror. The military they contributed may have well just have been photographs of soldiers etc. We didn't physically need them. We were always watching our own back...

This is not to demean any of those Spanish military who served. They did what they were supposed to do. It's just that they were not necessary. Therefore the pullout is only a slight itch on our arse.
