If you're not keeping score, I am.

In a TV interview for a Florida TV station, Kerry, attempting to woo Cuban American voters there, said, "I'm pretty tough on Castro, because I think he's running one of the last vestiges of a Stalinist secret police government in the world. And I voted for the Helms-Burton legislation to be tough on companies that deal with him."

In fact, Kerry voted against it. - Prowler

"It's when he gets a little desperate, and wants to make a good impression that we end up with these gaffes. We're working on it."

In other words, if pressed, he'll lie. Who, in their right mind, would vote for this bozo?

If George doesn't get 20 debates in before the election, he's crazy.

Pay attention (I don't want to have to keep telling you how this works). You are not supposed to question or actually think about anything that the Left says. They are, by definition, the good guys and anything they do will be good, right, true, just and wonderful. Pointing out trivial little things like inherent logical inconsistencies or practical impossibilities (or outright lies) will only serve to cause some of those whose faith is weak to waiver in their resolve to defeat the evil Right. If you want to think, think up bad things to say about the Right (and it doesn't matter whether they're true or make much sense, but extra points are awarded for pithiness or being able to fit on a button or bumper sticker).

Be careful what you wish for about the debates. GWB does tend to get a little tongue tied and isn't always at his best in the quick thinking on his feet department. Coupled with the Big Media penchant for ignoring Kerry's outright lies and pandering and for inflating the most marginal Bush gaffes to mountainous proportions, the debates could leave the mushy middle (who won't actually watch the debates and will only know what the Big Media tells them happened) less enthused for Bush.
