"I don't want to say it's a lie, but it isn't true."

The reason, we are told, that Gary Hart's 1988 presidential campaign was derailed because of his adultery, was that he "asked for it" by challenging the media to find a smoking gun.  It is therefore fair game for us to look into the true extent of John Kerry's Viet Nam heroism, since he has used it as a club in his quest for the presidency, has questioned the actions of President Bush  and several of his administration, and generally been a pain in the ass about his "heroism."  Yesterday, after his usual backfilling, backpedaling and backtracking, Lord Kerry posted his Viet Nam medical records on his website [see if you can find them].  Here's one man's observation [Records on medals spark questions]:
"I don't want to say it's a lie, but it isn't true," said Charles Kaufman, a retired Air Force captain whose job once was to submit military award requests."

Didn't take long for him to get those off line did it? I wanted to see some OER's and for sure the medical records from that first purple heart that he put himself in for. I expect the clinton machine has the records and will drop him in the grease in another month or so and the bitch hillary will march in to save the day for the dumbcrats.

I say, fuck this shit. He was decorated for bravery twice, did a hell of a lot more than most of us have ever done in the military. This is a very low topic for discussion, no matter the alleged reason for it.

They're still there. Click on his "Welcome Message" (right sidebar), then click on "View The Service Record" (just below the ketchup kween bio) and you can see what they want you to.

Howard you are right about one thing...he did do a helluva lot more than most of us...if you consider war crimes an achievement, for which he has admitted....

Mike M....those are not Service Records...that is, as you say, only what they want you to see. I did see one OER of his posted somewhere else that were like most written in RVN...walk on water types. I wrote them and received them...that was how the game was played unless you had really pissed off your rater and was a complete jerk.

The Purple Heart write-ups are important only in the sense that they were used to get out of combat early. If he cheated, he's scum. If he didn't, he's still scum, but for different reasons.

Re: the pic. As it slowly tears off its mask, we are finally able to see the true visage of the creature we know as John Kerry (audience gasps!).

This is kind of cool. If you want to look at the records, go to Google, type in "Waffles" and hit "I'm Feeling Lucky".

Personally, I hope he and his campaign continue to hold back some records. The longer it goes, the more is shows what kind of guy he is. Releasing only the stuff that puts him in a good light is pretty much his normal operating standard.
