If we had today's media in 1941 we would have lost to the Japs or bargained for a conditional surrender.
Posted by Yarbz at April 27, 2004 05:18 PMDo you think today's press would act the same way if FDR was President today? Or, even Bill Clinton? This is all ideological sniping - I'm convinced of it.
Posted by Rodger Schultz at April 27, 2004 05:41 PMWith the all volunteer force as a result of Vietnam there are very few who understand the how one feels as a member of the Military. It absolutely amazes me to hear the media try to interview folks involved in this Kerry dog and pony show. Yesterday one of Kerry's lap dog's was being interviewed by Linda Vestor (I'm in Lust) about his time as an enlisted boatmate of Kerry. I think the boy had no contact with Kerry since 1969 until recently and he damn sure couldn't have known Kerry well because the "hero" was only in country 113 days. At any rate I think he I read that he has been on the Kerry payroll since their "reunion". Might have been interesting to know how long they were in RVN together and the fact he is on the Kerry mammary now.
