![]() Last night the Discovery
Times Channel (That's right boys and girls, a Discovery channel
dedicated to New York Times productions) ran "Unraveling of a
Candidate." No not John Kerry. Gary Hart, in1988. The
picture montage above reflects past presidents who were adulterers,
according to the show, but who were protected by the press. Until poor
Gary Hart. I've discussed this before, but fer pete's sake,
you'd think the New York Ti ... oh, right.
Anyway, the Eisenhower/Kay Summersby story is false. It resurfaced in the 90's as a way of excusing Bill Clinton's shenanigans. Same with Tom Jefferson/Sally Hemmings. Once you start screwing with history ... well, it just cannot be tolerated. |
Nah. The program can't have been very "progressiv e." Where are the GLCTs?
(Or is it GLTCs? Geeze, I gotta keep up with these things.)
Excellent post.
That Clinton Cabal were even trashing George Washington.
This made me very, very, very mad because USA would now be part of Canada if it wasn’t for the heroic leadership of George Washington.
Goodwin’s reputation should have been ruined because she sold her soul to the Devil (Clinton). If her reputation was ruined for doubtful plagiarism, I say GREAT.
Justice was done.
The problem as I see it is that the truth (as in something objective that actually corresponds to what happened in fact) appears to be increasingly irrelevant in the media/entertainment industry.
Posted by m at April 28, 2004 10:38 PMThe media should lose their status as journalists unless they start doing journalism again... They should be considered democratic operatives and therfore subject to campaign finance laws and restrictions.
