A personal aside of some interest

In 1986 I was a test pilot employed by Grumman Aircraft, and attached to the Naval Test Pilot School, Patuxent River, Maryland.  The Grumman plane we were testing was the X-86P "Sting Ray," and this is -in all likelihood - the first you have ever heard of it.  The Ray was - is - truly revolutionary.  It was the first aircraft to utilize Magnetic Gravitational Assisted Propulsion (M-GAP).  While I can't divulge many of the details, this combination pulse-jet/M-GAP fighter was theoretically capable of warp speed.  I personally flew it at a speed of Mach 32 off of the Outer Banks in 1989.  Of course the Ray employed stealth technology, and may well account for many recent UFO sightings.

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make here is that I could go on for pages with this ad hoc, entirely fictional story, and many of you would remain riveted to your seats.  It's easy to do if you can pass lies off as truth without fear of censure.  That's why  this award  given to Bill Clinton, by the American Academy of Arts and Letters in New York City yesterday, is so utterly preposterous.

"He was selected because they admired how he was apparently always able to get up before an audience without notes and speak eloquently with full sentences that even had semicolons," the Academy's Virginia Dajani told the New York Sun.

Sheesh.

Fie for perpetuating this hoax.
This picture was not stealth related.
It's merely an ANG fighter jock who overslept and missed his take-off time.
Luckily, 1Lt Dubya was on duty that day and flew the mission himself.
You never hear about *this* in the MSM, do ya? Well, do ya?!
