I remember thinking at the time that there was entirely too much Howdy Doody and Buffalo Bob, and not enough of Princess SFWS on the show. I'm not sure I knew why I felt that way at the time, but I knew I liked looking at her more than the others.

Yeah, SFWS was my generation's Mary Ann.
Word is (from one of the biographies or other) SFWS was a bit easy and a bit of a lush. Just about everybody but Clarabelle the Clown (poor Captain). Just for your edification, of course.
