Happy Father's Day - and you all had one

Here's my daughter's boy friend Jimmy HaHa's family Father's Day tradition what I adopted three years ago for my own self.

Your guests arrive with a bottle of their dad's favorite whiskey.  Going around the table, each person pours everybody a drink of  his or her dad's libation of choice and tells a story about him (hopefully not about when he came home drunk and mistook your sock drawer for the lavatory). Lot's of guests mean lots of fun.

Traditions are priceless.

In fact, for the past few years we've been doing something quite similar. Instead, we make it a tradition of participation. We put pieces of paper with ingredients to my favorite party mix into a hat and everyone picks one thing out of the hat and becomes responsible for bringing it to the party.

My celebratory elixir of choice is a slight variation on the traditional Moose River Hummer.

Into a quart container, fill halfway with ice then add double shots of:
Absolute Vodka
Tanqueray Gin
Bacardi Rum
Triple Sec
Southern Comfort
Yukon Jack
& Grenadine.

Then add 1 packet wiskey sour mix, top off container with 7-up and mix well.

It's Hawaiian punch with a punch.

You sit there drinkin' this stuff until you get up to take a wiz and when you do get up, you'll want to sit right back down!

This concoction only works with top shelf liquors otherwise you take the chance of loosing your lunch (and anything you put in yo belly since then)!

"HIC!"

Enjoy!

Nah...
For all the above booze, subsititute an ounce of single-malt scotch (be one with the grain);
and for all the other stuff, subsititute an ounce of water (mother earth's pure essence) and one ice cube (global warming tonic).
Take orally.
Repeat as necessary until the cigar burns down...
or until Rodge quits postin' for the day.

Actually if I had to substitute a single bottle it would have to be Quervo Gold solo amigo... no ice, no water, no salt and no lemmon.
