"Rodge, why does the Demcratic party hate religion so much, especially Christianity?"
Man-oh-man, that's all I hear at the liquor store
anymore.  The
biggest reason for it just died. The "Christian Coalition,"
behind Ronald Reagan, peeled away a ton of core democrat blue
collar and union voters in 1980, and 1984. Without them democrats
were up the proverbial creek. That began a quarter century long (and
still going) 'Get-Even' campaign by Hollywood leftists (and their
lickspittles in congress) to defame Christianity. When faced with
a threat - newly elected Speakers of the House, Presidents of the
United States, you name it - the left responds with smear
campaigns. Always. There are nuances, of
course (Marxist disdain for any religion), but in a single paragraph
that's the essence. It has little to do with religious belief,
but with the cultural keys to power. That's why it's okay to steal
their cars, fuck their women, and kill their cats. This is
war. I mean that in the good way. |
