Wonders of the Liberal Mind

Tutwo Commie Town & Carl Levin

TUTOW, Germany -- There was a distinct dearth of visitors at Germany's latest theme park last week -- perhaps because people feared that once admitted, they might never leave.
That's right boys and girls, in an effort to boost tourism, Tutow is "transforming itself into a communist-era theme park, complete with a Berlin Wall replica and Kalashnikov-toting border guards."

"Inside, portraits of Eric Honecker, the former East German leader, and Politburo colleagues adorn the walls, while red menus embossed with Communist Party insignia tempt diners with a selection of hearty Socialist dishes."

I am not making this up.

One of the biggest attractions would prolly be the long lines to buy a loaf of bread, then another long line for some meat, then another long line for cheese just to make some sandwiches your family.

What? You want to go to the bathroom? Well, step right up and wait on line for toilet paper.

Sorry, but by time you reached the front of the line, they ran out.

What? You have a headache from standing in line for all this shit?

Ok, just stand in the next line to fill out paperwork and wait for several weeks to be approved for some asprin.

Seriously folks, I'm not making this up either!

That's what happens when Europeans get to design their own Disneyland.

the entire EU thing is their Fantasyland.

Just like hitting yourself on the head with a hammer, because it feels good when you stop.

Its a shame that the Germans don't turn France into a "Nazi-era theme park". Its not like they haven't done it before ;-)
